We're looking for a software engineer to build the data pipelines behind our finance and regulatory reporting.
You'll own the flow of trade and position data from our platform through to reporting outputs, working across:
- Finance reporting - daily and periodic reporting to the finance function, including reconciliation and control checks.
- Regulatory reporting - building and maintaining submissions to trade repositories and regulators.
Responsibilities include
- Build and maintain Python ETL pipelines from core platform to reporting datasets.
- Develop reconciliation and data quality checks, and investigate breaks.
- Work directly with finance, operations and compliance teams to translate reporting requirements into working pipelines.
- Support vendor integrations and submission workflows.
Reporting is the primary focus, but you'll also work across the core trading platform as it develops.
Technology stack: Java/Python, AWS, Linux, Postgres, Kafka, Git.
Requirements
- Solid working knowledge of Python and/or Java.
- Practical experience with relational databases and SQL (e. g. Postgres).
- Working command of Linux.
- Careful, methodical approach to data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
