Shape the future of intelligent, automated networks at GTT. At GTT, we operate one of the world’s largest global IP networks—and we’re transforming how it’s managed. We’re looking for an experienced Network Automation Engineer to play a leading role in building AI Ops platforms, agentic AI workflows, and automation solutions that power a carrier‑class, global network. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, network automation, and AI‑driven operations, with real influence over how we design, scale, and evolve our network management capabilities.
About the role:
You’ll focus on outcomes—improving reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across our global network—by designing and delivering automation and AI Ops solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and delivering an AI Ops network automation strategy aligned to business and customer outcomes
- Identifying and implementing automation across network provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and analytics
- Building and operating on‑prem AI infrastructure, including GPU‑enabled environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Deploying and orchestrating agentic AI systems (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
- Embedding security best practices across AI pipelines (secrets management, access control, encryption, audit logging)
- Developing automation using Python, Ansible, YAML, and integrating into CI/CD pipelines
- Delivering network orchestration, inventory, telemetry, and NetFlow‑based analytics for a carrier‑grade environment
- Collaborating closely with software, platform, and network engineering teams globally
What we’re looking for:
Essential experience:
- 4+ years across the full software development lifecycle in a network technology environment
- Strong Python and automation scripting experience
- Hands‑on experience with Ansible and modern CI/CD workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins)
- Solid understanding of container lifecycle management and infrastructure automation
- Strong foundation in routing, switching, network platforms, and inventory systems
- Experience working with telemetry and high‑volume network analytics
Nice to have:
- AI/ML or AI Ops platform experience
- GPU and server infrastructure management
- NetBox customization or similar network inventory platforms
Our Commitments:
- Adaptive Mindset: We meet change head‑on to build the capabilities we need now. We take personal ownership of our professional development to keep pace with change and actively drive it.
- Collective Impact: We treat innovation as a team sport, working powerfully together to create extraordinary impact. We collaborate openly and with a shared purpose and amplify our unique human strengths to solve complex challenges that technology alone cannot.
- Customer Ownership: We own our customers’ success, whether an internal stakeholder or an external client. We take full accountability, anticipate their needs and create smooth experiences to build trust with every touchpoint. In an automated world, personal ownership is GTT’s competitive edge.
