We specialise in the transport of full and part loads between Ireland and Great Britain using our extensive fleet of modern tractor units and trailers. Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Transport Manager to join our team based in Ballyclare.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in transport and logistics. You will work closely with the Senior Transport Manager, supporting the day-to-day operations while helping to ensure efficient, cost-effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the Senior Transport Manager
- Manage transport operations to maximise utilisation while minimising costs and meeting customer requirements
- Communicate effectively with drivers and colleagues to ensure timely collections and deliveries
- Monitor customer requests, allocate jobs, and issue clear instructions
- Troubleshoot transport-related issues in real time
- Oversee fleet tracking and provide live delivery updates to customer service teams
- Liaise with customers to understand and meet their operational needs
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as required
