We are recruiting a Driver Training Administrator for a 12 month fixedāterm contract to support the delivery of our Trainee Train Driver apprenticeship programme. This is a key role in ensuring trainees complete their training to the required standards and timescales, combining strong administration, data analysis, and relationshipābuilding skills.
You will work closely with trainee drivers, managers, and the rostering team to ensure training hours are planned effectively, progress is tracked accurately, and any risks to delivery are identified early.
What You Will Do
- Provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the Trainee Driver training and apprenticeship programme.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on trainee driving hours to ensure competency requirements are met.
- Participate in weekly progress reviews, highlighting issues and risks to training targets.
- Work collaboratively with managers and the rostering team to ensure sufficient and effective driving hours.
- Produce accurate and timely reports for the project and wider business.
- Support the apprenticeship programme with associated administrative duties.
- Proactively identify issues and work with relevant departments to resolve them.
- Carry out additional administrative tasks as required.
- Uphold safety and environmental standards at all times, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others.
What You Will Bring
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above.
