GTS Maintenance are recruiting a Site Manager to support our growing portfolio of UK water industry projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward‑thinking business and work alongside our Programme Manager on the high‑profile STW projects.

We are seeking a proactive leader with strong MEICA knowledge and a proven track record in the water and wastewater sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction, fabrication and MEICA installation activities across multiple sites.
  • Attend client, design and project meetings as the GTS representative.
  • Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.
  • Manage commissioning activities for MEICA systems.
  • Monitor programme, costs, productivity and site performance.
  • Conduct quality, safety and compliance inspections.
  • Manage subcontractors, workforce coordination and daily site issues.
  • Prepare site diaries, reports and maintain CDM documentation (CPP, PMP, Temporary Works, etc.).
  • Promote a positive safety culture through toolbox talks and proactive site engagement.

Essential Qualifications

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • CSCS Card
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • A61 Appointed Person
  • Temporary Works Supervisor
  • MEICA‑related training or certification

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of MEICA systems and processes.
  • Proven experience delivering water industry projects (clean or wastewater).
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work under pressure.
  • Commercial awareness and strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Understanding of DSEAR and ATEX regulations.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and BS EN 1090 standards.
