Team Leader - Manufacturing & Production Salary - Up to £45,000pa Location: Watford We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of a busy manufacturing & production department This role blends technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring high-quality diagnostics, repair, and refurbishment of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop a team of production technicians working on small and medium electronic and electro-mechanical systems * Track performance, report on KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across the service function * Hold regular meetings to establish performance levels, progress and training * Report to senior managers area for staff improvement and development Skills & Experience * Proven experience supervising or leading a technical team * Experience of daily, weekly and monthly management of staff and contractors * Experience of dealing with employee meetings, 1-2-1's, review meetings, authorising holiday, personnel issues etc * A manufacturing, production or engineering background is essential, ideally within electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing * Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills on electronic equipment would be advantageous Desirable * Qualification in electronics, telecommunications, or a related discipline (degree, apprenticeship, HND/C etc) Benefits: * Holiday – starting from 25 days up to 30 days plus bank holidays * Discretionary bonus - Approx 5% of base salary * Income Protection * Pension * Life Assurance * Travel Insurance (both business and leisure) * AXA Healthcare * Medicash Health plan
