An long term contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join an innovative engineering team delivering complex industrial equipment. This is a hands-on contract role focused on producing high-quality electrical designs for new product development.
The Role
- Produce detailed electrical designs using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN.
- Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts and wiring documentation for industrial machinery.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) and support electrical testing, build and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design AC/DC power distribution and machine control systems.
- Develop machinery safety circuits and associated technical documentation.
- Support electrical integration, testing and validation of new equipment.
- Ensure designs are delivered to a high technical standard and within project timescales.
