We are supporting a leading international manufacturer of high-performance interconnect and connectivity solutions in the search for a Business Development Manager covering the UK and Ireland. The role will focus on developing business across the medical device and industrial technology sectors, working closely with OEMs, design engineers, R&D teams and procurement functions to drive specification-led sales and long-term customer partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling electronic components, connectors, cable assemblies or related engineered products into the medical device market. Experience engaging with customers involved in diagnostic equipment, surgical systems, imaging, patient monitoring, therapeutic devices or other regulated medical applications would be highly desirable. The company operates extensively within demanding medical applications requiring high-reliability and mission-critical solutions. Ideally you will be located in the Oxford–Cambridge Arc.
Key Requirements- Proven business development experience across the UK and Ireland.
- Track record selling components or engineered solutions into medical OEMs.
- Experience with specification-led or design-in sales processes.
- Ability to engage technical, engineering and commercial stakeholders.
- Background within electromechanical components, cable assemblies, electronics or related technologies preferred.
- Comfortable managing both new business development and strategic account growth.
