We're supporting a growing technology business that delivers customised computing solutions across defence, infrastructure, healthcare and industrial markets. Following recent growth and increased demand, they're looking to hire an experienced individual to become the technical backbone of their production operation. This is a hands-on role focused on configuring, testing and fault-finding custom-built systems before they're shipped to customers. Projects range from embedded and board-level computing through to full rack and datacentre installations.

You'll act as the go-to person for technical build issues — troubleshooting problems, improving processes and reducing reliance on the design team for day-to-day production challenges.

Key responsibilities:
  • Configure and test custom-built systems
  • Fault-find hardware/software issues
  • Support prototype and first article builds
  • Improve build documentation and processes
  • Ensure systems are fully tested before shipment
  • Work closely with engineering, quality and operations teams
