Some programmes genuinely matter. This is one of them.

We're looking for an experienced Program Manager to join a high-performing team delivering long-cycle, technically complex defence programmes. If you've built your career keeping critical programmes on track and thrive where the stakes are real, this is worth your attention.

The role

You'll work directly alongside a Senior Programme Manager, owning the internal execution layer - schedules, budgets, forecasts, risk registers, and governance - so they can focus on customer relationships and commercial delivery. It's a role for someone who finds satisfaction in precision: the person who makes sure the right things happen at the right time, even when the environment is anything but straightforward.

You'll be tracking delivery of critical hardware across multiple geographies, managing integrated master schedules, driving governance through contract milestones, and resolving the resource conflicts and blockers that come with complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years in program management within defence or aerospace
  • Experience working on High Value / Low Volume Products
  • A recognised PM certification (PMP or equivalent) - or a strong case without one
  • Real financial literacy: budgeting, forecasting, margin - not just awareness, but hands-on experience
  • The ability to hold multiple workstreams together without losing grip on any of them
  • Eligibility for UK security clearance (essential)

The environment

A structured organisation that takes governance seriously, within a team that moves fast on execution. You'll have a defined remit, real autonomy within it, and a Programme Manager who wants a strong operational partner.
