Technical Lead – BMS | Rail Programme to 2029+ | Fast-Growth Consultancy
I’m working with a fast-growing engineering consultanc y operating at the heart of UK rail and critical infrastructure delivery—where “Command, Control & Communications ” underpins everything they do.
They’re now looking for a Technical Lead (Building Automation / Comm s) to step into a high-profile, long-term rail programme.
This is not a “build from scratch” role—you’ll be parachuted into an established, prestigious project already in deliv ery, taking ownership of technical leadership and helping steer it through to 2029+.
What you’ll be do ing:
- Leading Building Automation / Comms design, integration & delivery across a major rail environment
- Acting as the key technical authority on an active, complex programme
- Working across multi-disciplinary engineering & rail stakeholders
- Ensuring safe, compliant, high-quality system delivery in live operational environments
- Driving alignment across automation, systems integration, and wider C3 (Command, Control & Communications)
What they’re looking for:
- Strong backgroun d in Building Automation systems
- Proven technical leadership in complex engineering environments
- Rail experience (highly desirable)
- Confidence working across multi-disciplinary teams & stakeholders
- Strong understanding of integration, commissioning & delivery in live environments
