GTS have an exclusive opportunity for a Site Operations Manager to lead a complex, high-hazard COMAH-regulated industrial facility in South East England. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the site, while driving a step change in safety leadership and operational standards across the facility.
Working within a highly regulated environment, you will lead operational teams, influence culture and ensure the site operates to the highest standards of safety, compliance and performance. This is a role for someone who combines strong operational leadership with visible safety commitment, and who understands what it takes to run a major hazard facility safely and effectively.
As Site Operations Manager, you will hold responsibility for the day-to-day operational leadership of the site, ensuring safety remains the foundation of everything the facility delivers.
- Leading the safe and efficient operation of a COMAH-regulated industrial facility
- Ensuring compliance with COMAH regulations, process safety standards and HSE frameworks
- Maintaining high standards of process safety, operational risk management and asset integrity
- Supporting the delivery of shutdowns, improvement programmes and operational projects
- Driving operational KPIs, performance improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
You bring a balance of operational credibility and safety leadership, and understand the responsibility that comes with managing complex industrial operations.
- Proven operational leadership within COMAH, chemicals, energy, gas or process manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of process safety, COMAH regulations and major hazard risk management
- Clear examples of leading and improving safety culture and performance
- A recognised safety qualification such as NEBOSH or equivalent
