The Opportunity
This is a full 360 recruitment role where you'll be responsible for developing client relationships, winning new business, and delivering exceptional recruitment solutions across permanent and contract markets. Working with mid-to-senior level engineering professionals, you'll manage the entire recruitment lifecycle while building your own specialist market and personal brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and managing relationships with engineering consultancies, contractors, and infrastructure organisations.
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Managing the full recruitment process from vacancy qualification through to placement.
- Recruiting mid-to-senior level engineering professionals across specialist technical markets.
- Building and maintaining a strong network of candidates and clients.
- Negotiating fees, terms, and commercial agreements.
- Managing multiple assignments and delivering high-quality recruitment solutions.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
About You
We're interested in speaking with recruiters who have:
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Principal Consultant.
- A track record of billing success within technical, engineering, construction, rail, infrastructure, or similar professional markets.
- Strong business development and client management skills.
- Experience recruiting for professional, technical, or senior-level positions.
- A consultative and relationship-driven approach.
- High levels of motivation, professionalism, and commercial awareness.
- The ambition to progress into leadership or build a specialist desk.
