We’re working with a specialist organisation delivering tailor-made Metering as a Service (MaaS) solution, supporting rapid investment in smart infrastructure sustainability. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced deployment planner / coordinator who understands large-scale rollouts, radio networks, and stakeholder management – without sitting in a traditional programme management role.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in the design, planning, and delivery of smart meter deployment programmes, helping to roll out sustainable smart monitoring solutions across the South of England. Working closely with internal programme teams, clients, and suppliers, you’ll ensure smooth end-to-end delivery – from planning through to live operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and coordinating end-to-end smart meter and radio network deployments
- Managing network roll-outs, including radio / LoRa or similar technologies
- Overseeing logistics, deployment scheduling, and operational coordination
- Acting as the key interface between clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Supporting repair, maintenance, and warranty processes to ensure seamless operations
- Contributing to budget planning and approval processes
- Working alongside a well-established programmes team (PMs, PMO, Test Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Performance Analyst)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in deployment planning or rollout coordination (not programme management)
- Background in energy, gas, water, or utilities is ideal
- Solid understanding of radio network deployment (LoRa or similar technologies welcome)
- Confident managing processes, logistics, and multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working across clients, suppliers, and technical teams
- Mobile operator / network rollout experience is relevant
Why Join?
- Industry investment is accelerating – this role sits right at the centre of that growth
- High flexibility with office presence
- South of England focus with travel when required
- Opportunity to work on sustainable, smart infrastructure programmes with real-world impact
