We’re supporting a global omnichannel retail and e-commerce business to appoint an experienced PR Direct Procurement Manager to drive the growth of its imported and cross-border product portfolio. This is a high-impact commercial role, combining global supplier onboarding, procurement strategy, and performance management, with direct responsibility for scaling international brand partnerships and driving profitable growth.
The role involves taking ownership of sourcing and managing brand owners, large retailers, and e-commerce partners worldwide, ensuring strong commercial performance across imported product categories.
Key responsibilities include:
- Onboarding and managing global suppliers and brand partners
- Driving core KPIs including GMV, gross profit, and net profit
- Negotiating commercial terms, marketing support, and supplier funding
- Developing category-level sales and procurement strategies
- Identifying and onboarding new international suppliers
- Managing supplier performance, optimisation, and exit where required
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5+ years’ experience in procurement, retail buying, FMCG, import/export trade, or merchant acquisition
- Strong commercial and data analysis capability
- Experience in sports & outdoor categories (e.g. golf, fishing, outdoor products) is advantageous
- Exposure to overseas suppliers and international procurement strongly preferred
- Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
