The Opportunity
GTS are working with a leading security systems integrator delivering advanced technology solutions across transport, infrastructure, and high-security environments. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of on-vehicle systems across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers who enjoy hands-on work, autonomy, and working with modern vehicle technology.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for working on vehicle-based CCTV, telematics, and electrical systems across a regional patch. Key responsibilities include:
- Installation of vehicle CCTV & driver assistance systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on vehicle electrical systems
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- On-site support for fleet and transport customers
- Completing job reports and liaising with internal teams
What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally come from one of the following backgrounds:
- Auto Electrician / Vehicle Electrics
- CCTV or Security Systems Engineer
- Telematics / Fleet Technology Engineer
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering
You’ll also need:
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full driving licence
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Flexibility for night work and travel across Ireland
