Ready to work on complex ground engineering challenges that genuinely shape the built environment? We're looking for a Geotechnical Engineer who enjoys problem-solving, creative thinking, and delivering practical solutions that make a real-world impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing permanent and temporary geotechnical works: foundations, retaining walls, slopes, earthworks and enabling works
- Supporting tunnelling and pipeline design, including shafts and construction methodologies
- Contributing to support-of-excavation designs for basements and underground structures
- Planning and interpreting ground investigations and desk studies
- Assessing ground movement, hydrogeological impacts, and potential building damage
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural and bridge engineering
- Embedding sustainability and circular economy principles into designs
- Supporting site monitoring during construction and investigations
What We're Looking For
- ICE-accredited MEng or MSc in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- 2–3 years' post-graduate experience in geotechnical engineering or tunnelling (preferred)
- Strong grounding in soil & rock mechanics and construction methods
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Curious, proactive, collaborative, and keen to keep learning
