About the role
If you’re looking for a role where you can define technical architecture, influence best practice, and be part of a growing, supportive team, this is for you. You’ll join a Strategic Digital Solutions team and play a key role in defining and delivering technical architecture across Salesforce. Working with clients across a range of sectors, you’ll help shape and deliver Salesforce solutions that enable meaningful digital transformation, including the use of AI-driven capabilities. You’ll need to be eligible for SC security clearance to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
- Designing end-to-end system architectures that integrate Salesforce core platform and Agentforce AI components with wider enterprise IT environments
- Delivering assignments in line with agreed scope, time and quality measures, with particular focus on platform governor limits, data integrity and security models
- Working closely with clients to translate complex AI and integration patterns into clear, measurable business value
- Managing and collaborating with subcontractors and partners where required
- Completing assignment and design reviews to ensure architectural decisions meet requirements and support long-term scalability and maintainability
- Promoting Sopra Steria’s Salesforce offerings and contributing to the ongoing development of our Salesforce capabilities
- Sharing knowledge through coaching and mentoring, supporting specialist groups focused on emerging AI technologies
- Identifying, managing and mitigating technical and commercial risks throughout delivery
What you need
- Proven experience designing Salesforce solutions and documenting technical decisions using Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and architectural diagrams
- Deep Salesforce platform knowledge, including Service Cloud, multi-tenant architecture, Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flow
- Strong integration and security expertise, including API-first architecture, REST/SOAP, OAuth, and Salesforce security models such as Shield, Sharing and Visibility
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments and translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Certifications (required)
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect
