We are supporting a major UK infrastructure project in the search for a Junior Engineering Surveyor to join a high-performing site-based surveying team working on one of the country’s largest civil engineering programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some existing site surveying or setting out experience who is looking to gain exposure to large-scale infrastructure and rail projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with engineering surveying activities on site
- Supporting setting out, control network observations and as-built surveys
- Working with Leica / Trimble equipment and survey technology
- Assisting with laser scanning and survey data capture
- Supporting survey data processing and reporting
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to project standards
Ideal Background:
- Junior Engineering Surveyor / Site Surveyor / Setting Out Engineer
- Experience within civils, infrastructure, rail, highways or major projects
- Familiar with total stations, GPS/GNSS or survey equipment
- CSCS Card holder
- Engineering Surveying, Geomatics or Civil Engineering qualification desirable
