GTS have an exclusive opportunity to join an industry leader as their Environment Health Safety Lead, to take full ownership of a complex, high-risk industrial facility, based in South East England. This is a site-wide leadership role with genuine autonomy - accountable for safety, performance, people and delivery across production, maintenance and support functions. You’ll set the tone, drive standards, and lead from the front in a highly regulated environment.
- Leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and building a strong performance culture
- Owning process safety and asset integrity across the facility
- Delivering projects, shutdowns and improvement programmes
- Developing talent, strengthening capability and creating succession
Proven leadership experience within major hazard, process manufacturing or similarly regulated environments. Strong working knowledge of COMAH / process safety / HSE frameworks. Experience managing large budgets and driving operational performance. Exposure to capital projects, turnarounds or regulatory programmes. NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualification. You’re commercially aware, safety-driven, and thrive in environments where expectations are high and ambiguity is part of the job. Opportunity to shape culture, capability and performance.
