An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Honing Machinist to join a world-leading high-performance engineering business based in Motorsport Valley. Working within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, you'll be responsible for precision cylinder liner honing operations, component finishing and supporting the manufacture of next-generation high-performance powertrain components.

Key Responsibilities

  • CNC cylinder liner honing using advanced honing machinery
  • Working from engineering drawings and process sheets
  • In-process inspection and final finishing operations
  • Ensuring components meet exacting quality standards
  • Supporting production deadlines and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assisting wider manufacturing activities when required

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within CNC honing and precision machining
  • Strong knowledge of honing theory, processes and machinery
  • Experience with cylinder liner honing and precision-engineered components
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Experience with Sunnen honing equipment highly desirable
  • Background within motorsport, automotive, aerospace or advanced manufacturing
