We are seeking a Principal RF Design Engineer to act as a senior technical authority across our RF and Microwave product portfolio. This is a pivotal role for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, influencing product strategy, and mentoring others while delivering real commercial impact.

Working within a highly skilled, multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will lead the design and development of advanced RF solutions spanning IF, L-, C-, X-, Ku-, K-, Ka- and Q/V-Bands, from concept through to fully productionised products.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the design, simulation and development of RF and Microwave products across DC–6 GHz and into mmWave (>40 GHz).
  • Solve complex RF design challenges that directly influence product performance, technology direction and business outcomes.
  • Perform RF system analysis, including cascade analysis and frequency planning.
  • Technically lead projects, working closely with mechanical, systems, digital and manufacturing teams.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience in RF & Microwave design, ideally from DC to >40 GHz.
  • Deep understanding of RF circuit theory, transmission lines, PCB layout and passive/active networks.
  • Hands-on experience designing amplifiers, splitters, switches, converters and RF subsystems.
  • Proficiency with RF CAD tools such as NI/AWR Microwave Office.
  • Strong practical skills using RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analysers, etc.).
  • Proven ability to influence technical direction and lead complex engineering activities.
