A reputable Rail Company is on an exciting journey – with ambitions to double in size within the next two years, we’re looking for a talented and personable Quantity Surveyor to come along for the ride. Rooted in rail and expanding confidently into nuclear and a newly launched aviation division, we’re proud to work with a diverse client base and build long-term partnerships – including deep collaborations with top-tier contractors.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • As our Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be at the commercial heart of our rail and infrastructure projects, from pre-implementation through to delivery.
  • Supporting the commercial administration of projects including platform works, depot maintenance, wall and embankment repairs, and culvert works.
  • Working closely with our project management teams to ensure strong commercial processes.
  • Accurate measurement of works, change capture, and management of sub-contractor accounts.
  • Collaborating with procurement teams and supporting fellow QS team members.
  • Attending project meetings and being the calm, capable commercial presence on-site.
  • Building relationships matters; we want someone local, personable, and hands-on – the kind of person who works through challenges with the team, not from a distance.
