Bid Coordinator – Infrastructure Engineering Consultancy

Location: Remote or Hybrid - London

Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Sector: Engineering Design | Infrastructure | Civil Engineering

The Opportunity

We're working with an ambitious and growing multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy that is looking to appoint a Bid Coordinator to support its continued expansion across the UK infrastructure sector.

With an increasing pipeline of opportunities across major infrastructure projects, the business is looking for an organised, proactive individual to help identify tender opportunities, coordinate bid submissions and support its wider business development activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Junior Bid Coordinator, Bid Administrator or someone with strong administrative experience who is keen to develop a career in bids and proposals.

You don't need to be an experienced bid writer. The business has an established library of bid materials and experienced technical professionals who will provide training and support.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Monitoring procurement portals and client databases to identify relevant tender opportunities.

  • Coordinating bids, proposals, expressions of interest (EOIs) and prequalification questionnaires (PQQs).

  • Managing bid schedules, submission deadlines and tender documentation.

  • Working closely with senior management, engineers and technical specialists to gather information for submissions.

  • Supporting the preparation and development of written tender responses.

  • Maintaining and improving the company's bid library, including case studies, project references and technical information.

  • Tracking tender opportunities, submissions and outcomes.

  • Supporting wider business development and work-winning activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in bid coordination, tender administration, project administration or a similar role.

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Good written communication skills and confidence preparing professional documentation.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and confidence working with technical colleagues.

Experience within engineering, construction, infrastructure or professional services would be advantageous, but doesn't mandatory.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Join a growing engineering consultancy with ambitious expansion plans.

  • Gain exposure to major infrastructure design and engineering projects.

  • Work directly with experienced technical and senior management professionals.

  • Receive training and support to develop your bid writing and tender management skills.

  • Take ownership of a key function supporting the company's continued growth.

  • Develop your career towards Bid Manager or wider business development responsibilities.

Interested?

Whether you're an established Junior Bid Coordinator looking for greater responsibility or an ambitious administrator interested in developing a career within bids and proposals, we'd be keen to hear from you.
