The Opportunity: As an Auto Electrician, you'll be responsible for the installation, testing, fault-finding, and repair of electrical systems on a range of specialist vehicle builds. Working within a modern production environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring every vehicle leaves the facility to the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and integrate electrical systems on specialist and emergency response vehicles
- Fit wiring looms, lighting systems, control units, sirens, and associated vehicle equipment
- Carry out electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and build instructions
- Support vehicle assembly and production processes
- Complete work to strict quality and safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and work records
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience working as an Auto Electrician or Vehicle Electrician
- Strong wiring, installation, and fault-finding experience
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions
