Do you have a passion for customer service and enjoy helping people? We are currently looking for talented individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. As a RCO/Gateline Assistant, you will be a key member of staff in the station and on-train environment. You will often be the first point of contact for customers and play a vital role in their journey. Your aim is to provide a higher than expected level of information, foster a feeling of safety, security and wellbeing, and protect the revenue of GTR.
Responsibilities
- Your duties fall into four main categories: revenue protection, customer service, security and information provision.
- This environment can be high-pressure, and it is crucial to promote maximum customer goodwill with high standards of courtesy and service.

Requirements
- This role covers 24‑hour operation, so you must live in the local area and have independent transport to arrive at the station for the early shift when a train service may not be available.
- All station‑based roles may involve standing for long periods of time and working shifts including weekends, nights and bank holidays.
