GTR are looking to recruit a Resource Manager for our Brighton Depot.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can:

  • Ensure sufficient Train Crew are provided to run the services on a day-to-day basis, ensuring minimal delays to trains.
  • Work with a team of Resource Managers where necessary to ensure that any shortfalls are avoided, balancing resources through other provisions.
  • Ensure that the Crews are kept updated in real time to reflect Train Crews booking on, as well as actual work undertaken during shifts, including in times of disruption.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations at relevant depots that will provide a safe, reliable and punctual train service meeting customer expectation.

  • Planning and organisation to demanding timescales.
  • High IT literacy interpreting data and understanding trends including use of Trust, Sheila, Bugle, Genius, Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence.
  • Support and assist your team to consistently deliver high levels of performance.
