Opportunity
As Projects Leader, you'll take ownership of engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work across multiple disciplines, bringing together technical specialists, operational teams, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that improve fleet performance and operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
- Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of engineering overhaul and improvement projects.
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource strategies.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and critical paths to ensure successful outcomes.
- Drive mobilisation activities and oversee project execution through to completion.
- Stakeholder & Team Management
- Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Collaborate with Fleet Technical, Production, Safety, Environmental and Operational stakeholders.
- Facilitate project reviews, risk assessments, and governance activities.
- Build strong relationships across the business to ensure project success.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, project delivery methods, and operational performance.
- Champion Lean and continuous improvement principles.
- Use data and performance insights to influence decision-making and deliver measurable improvements.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct project audits, inspections, and assurance activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout project delivery.
- Reporting & Governance
- Produce clear project updates and performance reports.
- Monitor project KPIs, budgets, resources, and delivery milestones.
- Present progress and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
