Help us keep our stations safe, smart, and running smoothly. We are looking for a hands‑on, people‑focused Site Operations Manager to lead planned improvement and repair work across the GTR network. You will manage a small team of in‑house Site Service Engineers, ensuring our stations remain safe, look great, and operate efficiently for the millions of passengers who use them daily. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a small team of Site Service Engineers to deliver day‑to‑day maintenance and site improvement projects.
- Get hands‑on with the work yourself – a balance of practical tasks and mentoring.
- Ensure everyone stays safe by confirming risk assessments and safety plans are in place before, during, and after work.
- Inspect completed jobs and resolve any snagging issues to maintain quality.
- Support and train your team, helping them grow skills and stay safe.
- Collaborate with contractors and managers to plan site access and minimise public disruption.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and kit, ensuring all equipment remains in good condition.
What You’ll Need
- Solid hands‑on experience in construction and/or building maintenance.
