We're looking for an experienced Administration Manager to lead and deliver a high-quality administration service supporting our Engineering maintenance and train cleaning teams. This is a key role at the heart of depot operations, ensuring people, systems and processes work efficiently and compliantly.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage administration support for large, operational teams
  • Oversee rostering, payroll coordination and attendance monitoring
  • Maintain accurate records covering fatigue management, leave, performance, and employee relations
  • Coordinate medical assessments with Occupational Health and People teams
  • Manage procurement activities, uniform orders and document control
  • Ensure confidentiality, compliance and organisation of all personnel records
  • Provide cover across depots to support business continuity
  • Line manage a small administration team and support wider depot operations

What We're Looking For

  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent experience supporting large teams
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, rostering and employment procedures
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and confident working independently
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and enterprise systems)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
