As a Station Assistant, you will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service every time. You will often be the first point of contact our customers meet on their journey and it is therefore a vital role for making our customers\' day.
Due to shift times, you must live in the local area and have available independent transport to ensure that you arrive at the station for the early shift as required, as there may not always be a train service available. All stations-based roles may involve standing for long periods and working shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
Working on a shift basis, including weekends, you will be in the Ticket Office and proactively finding the right ticket for our customers while delivering excellent customer service to new and regular customers. We have the latest computer-based ticketing system with access to our intranet to provide information our customers may need.
You will also be responsible for assisting customers where necessary.
