Due to recent changes in our Operations Team we have new opportunities to become Operations Training Specialists based at our Hornsey Training Academy. Your role will be to deliver driver training, assessing and will also carry out training for other operational safety grades.
You Will Be Expected To
- Work to a flexible schedule to facilitate and support learning and development activities when and where required, working as part of a small team
- Develop, facilitate and evaluate learning, assessment and feedback activities within the Training programme
- Provide support to the service to fulfil operational requirements, especially during disruption, maintaining driving and traction competence at all times
- Be an ambassador for learning and development at GTR
You Should Possess The Following Skills
- Flexibility to deliver the outcomes of the role and support team members
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including use of information communications technology
- Ability to motivate and inspire adult learners, particularly through open, honest and constructive feedback
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule/workload
- Creativity and initiative to undertake intensive project and development work, using learning technologies
You must also hold a minimum of 3 years operational experience as a Train Driver
The successful candidate will enjoy free travel on entire GTR network, discounted travel on other train operating companies, final pension salary scheme, employee assistance programme and much more.
