Senior Power Platform Consultant
The role
Our client, a specialist Microsoft partner, is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to lead the design, delivery and continual improvement of Microsoft-based business solutions across their customer portfolio.
This is a brilliant mix of hands-on technical delivery and technical leadership. You'll lead complex customer engagements, shape solution approaches, mentor consultants and help mature a growing delivery practice.
Project delivery is the main focus, but you'll also help set standards, raise delivery quality, encourage knowledge sharing and shape how the consultancy's services evolve. It's a senior role that needs strong consulting skills, broad capability across the Power Platform and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead customer projects from discovery through to deployment and handover
- Design scalable, secure and supportable solutions
- Act as technical lead on assigned engagements
- Run technical reviews and quality assurance
- Mentor and support Consultants and Associate Consultants
- Contribute to delivery standards, best practice and reusable assets
- Support workshops, proposals, estimates and solution design
- Act as an escalation point for technical and delivery challenges
- Spot opportunities to improve customer outcomes and delivery quality
People and consulting skills
You'll build trusted relationships with customers, stakeholders and colleagues, and you'll be confident running workshops, discovery sessions and design discussions. You can explain technical concepts clearly to any audience, challenge assumptions, manage expectations and handle difficult conversations professionally.
You enjoy coaching and developing junior consultants, take ownership of your work and contribute positively to team culture. You can balance customer needs, technical quality and commercial considerations, present comfortably to senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor, and proactively flag risks and opportunities.
Essential experience
- Significant experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions
- Strong solution design and technical leadership capability
- Experience leading workshops and customer engagements
- Hands-on with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Copilot Studio
- Strong understanding of governance, security and architecture principles
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Certifications
Required (one of):
- AB-100 Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect
- PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect
Desirable:
- PL-400 Power Platform Developer
- AB-640 AI Agent Builder
- PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst
- AI-103 Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer
