What will the apprentice be doing?
- Train to repair vehicle damage to an exacting standard.
- Work within a vehicle repair team with a dedicated mentor.
- Gain exposure to a range of vehicles and repair methods.
- Be based in the paint shop and learn all aspects of preparing surfaces, masking, priming, painting, buffing and polishing to a suitable finish.
- Training & Qualification
- Training delivered through GTG to obtain an SCQF Level 6 in Vehicle Paintwork Repair.
- Regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken at the workplace and at GTG Training to ensure required skills are achieved.
- Completion of the apprenticeship awards the SCQF Level 6 qualification.

Works across the UK with 65 equipped centres, including mobile repair, glass repair and replacement solutions.

Qualifications

- Essentially literate, numerate, reliable and eager to learn.

- Working week: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- Total hours per week: 40.
- Expected apprenticeship duration: 36 months.
