THE MANDATE
Accurately audit customer billing based on contractual obligations and create invoices within Great Plains (GP). As a member of the finance team, the Finance, Administrative Associate is a subject matter expert in segmentation of billable units with the ability to communicate effectively and deliver strong customer service while working in a deadline-driven environment.

Accountabilities
- Responsible for conducting billing audits to ensure segmentation rules are applied correctly and our contractual obligations are met.
- Provide feedback regarding segmentation/billing unit discrepancies to employees and management to improve overall reporting.
- Perform formal and informal training to employees that are conducting segmentation audits.
- Regularly pull listing of billing lines from the Utility Software program and distribute work among those completing regular segmentation audits.
- Conduct other administrative duties as necessary.
SCOPE
Reports to: Manager, Finance and Administration
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision and under pressure of working within strict deadlines.
- Must have computer experience with Excel, MS Word, Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
- Advanced computer skills including spreadsheet management using Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all employees and external individuals and agencies, in an efficient and effective manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality on all information.
Work Experience
3-5 years previous experience in an accounting and/or administrative environment is preferred.
