We are seeking a proactive and experienced Personal Tax Manager to join our client's Private Client Services team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, non-domiciled individuals, and trusts. This role involves delivering high-quality compliance services and providing advisory support on a range of personal tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns.
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, non-domiciled individuals, and trusts.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide proactive advice to clients.
- Review work prepared by junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of relevant developments.
- Assist in business development activities, including preparing proposals and attending client meetings.
- ATT qualified and/or CTA qualified or part-qualified.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in personal tax within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation, including experience with non-domiciled individuals and trusts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
