Responsible for the programme management for all projects assigned to you including but not restricted to customer liaison, cost management and delivery of the off‑site enabling works in line with an agreed delivery programme with the customers.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership of the offsite enabling works team consisting of Post Award Programme Lead and Nominated Designer for the projects assigned.
- Ensuring proactive management of Post Award processes, including facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders within agreed timescales from acceptance of a new contract to GTC and throughout the programme of delivery.
- Take ownership of all post award meetings, chair them and make sure the dates are all agreed and accepted by all parties internal and external.
- Co‑ordination of the physical off‑site works required by various contractors.
- Responsible for the target cost of the off‑site works being delivered by the contractor(s).
- Target cost v out turn cost monitoring on all projects in conjunction with the Project Finance Team.
- Review and approval of contractor invoices and variations to the works where applicable.
- Handover of the project to the On‑Site MU Project Manager when all utilities are commissioned.
- Accountable for producing and updating a Project Programme for your portfolio of projects.
- Accountable for all Health and Safety matters relating to the Installation and working of all networks, including all incident investigation, and reporting, including closure of corrective actions.
- Accountable for the off‑site construction and the post award activities to achieve design approvals / legal conclusions for all projects assigned to you.
- Responsible for overseeing the initial and ongoing site meetings to ensure timely progression of works, including where necessary any handover pack.
- Responsible for overseeing the project management of network construction including material control and take offs.
- Attend and proactively participate in internal planning & coordination meetings ensuring updates are delivered with the plan for the works and projects you are responsible for.
- Accountable for the provision of excellence in Customer Service reflected in the CES score for enabling and post award works.
- Assist Senior Project Manager in people management matters where required.
- Assist in ensuring maintenance and compliance to WIRS / GIRS / NERS / MURS and other accreditations held by group.
- Ensure that all relevant information is recorded accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with the latest company procedures, legislation, and industry skills on all aspects of day‑to‑day work.
- Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Operations Director or Senior Project Manager.

- Experience and a working knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations relating to all Gas, Electricity, Fibre & Water Distribution Systems.
- Experience in the Utility environment with significant knowledge in Multi Utility New Housing Works.
- Previous experience in Project and Program Management for a portfolio of works.
- Programme Management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Senior Authorised Person (electric) or NCO3 (water) qualifications.
- Project Manager qualification IPM or Prince2 practitioner.
- Fibre Experience.
- Civil Experience.
- Experienced user of MS Project or similar.
- Cost management experience.
You will hold a driving licence.
