GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a Multi Utility Construction Coordinator who would like to help us reach our mission to "earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service".
Purpose of this role
In conjunction with the MU Team, deal with all customer queries and build out works by others in the region and assist in the new MU Self Delivery Business where required.
Your Key Responsibilities Are
- Accountable for all mains work requests being logged onto the system, planned, booked and expedited in a timely and efficient manner in line with operational requirements.
- Raising of all the required job packs either electronically or manually depending on the works and systems in use.
- Water Mains and Services management of the flow of information to and from DNO to facilitate installation of the works.
- Ensure planning in line with DOMS for DNO.
- Management of all works information issued and returned and tracking progress of the sites.
- Ordering of required main materials.
- Electric Mains management of the flow of information to and from DNO.
- Ordering and management of required plant.
- Receive and log all Customer Queries both positive and negative.
- Ownership of Customer Queries until satisfaction is achieved.
- Liaise with the MU team and wider business to resolve any issues.
- Direct liaison with DNO's in compliance with DOMS / Code of practice.
- Variations to the developer, tracking of these and ensuring receipt of payments.
- Assist with emergencies.
- Any other duties as deemed appropriate by Management.
Abilities/Skills
- Good Communication Skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Desirable: Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent.
