We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major infrastructure programme on a 15-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the successful delivery of capital projects within a complex, regulated environment.
This role requires a proactive Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects safely, on time, and within budget.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery against programme, cost, quality, and safety objectives. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of essential infrastructure works.
Essential Experience
- Demonstrable experience delivering infrastructure projects as a Project Manager.
- Experience within one or more of the following sectors: Rail, Construction, Highways, Water, Nuclear, Other major infrastructure environments.
- Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes, risks, and governance.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and project assurance requirements.
Highly Desirable
- Experience using FastDraft.
- Experience with Projects Online.
- Experience working under NEC4 contracts.
- Chartered membership of a recognised professional body such as ICE, APM, or CIWEM.
Location
This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be based in Yorkshire and able to attend either the Leeds office or project sites across the Yorkshire area several days per week. Candidates must live within approximately 45 minutes of Leeds, as applicants based further away will not be considered.
