The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to join a high-impact digital programme within a central government environment. You’ll take ownership of established product roadmaps across AWS and a data platform, ensuring delivery stays on track while continuously aligning to user needs and strategic goals. This is a great opportunity to work at scale, influencing decisions across teams and helping shape critical public services.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning and evolving product roadmaps for AWS and data platforms
  • Collaborating with the Lead Product Manager to shape product vision and strategy
  • Prioritising backlogs based on value, effort, and strategic alignment
  • Engaging with stakeholders and users to understand needs and define requirements
  • Communicating complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way
  • Influencing cross-team priorities and advocating for the platform
  • Facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring a well-refined backlog

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager within UK Government or public sector
  • Strong track record delivering technology products (ideally AWS or data platforms)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical challenges for non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams

  • Hybrid working – must be within commuting distance of Leeds, Newcastle, or Birmingham
  • BPSS clearance required
