Pay Rate to Candidate: Β£400 per day UMB

We are currently recruiting for three Pay & Reward Advisors to join a leading public-sector organisation on an initial 3-month contract .

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Pay & Reward professionals with strong administration, data and stakeholder-management skills to support a busy reward function.

The Role

As a Pay & Reward Advisor, you will provide day-to-day advisory and administrative support across pay, reward, benefits and employee-related activities.

You will manage the Pay & Reward mailbox, maintain accurate records and audit logs, support job evaluation and assist with a range of reward and Employee Relations activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Pay & Reward mailbox, providing policy advice and prioritising queries.
  • Maintain accurate logs, records and business-case documentation for audit purposes.
  • Undertake and support job evaluations across different levels of roles.
  • Support Employee Relations activity, including arranging meetings and acting as meeting secretary.
  • Support the administration and maintenance of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
  • Assist with pensions communications and related activities.
  • Maintain and improve Pay & Reward intranet pages and publish updates.
  • Maintain accurate salary, benefits and employee data.
  • Use data and evidence to support recommendations and highlight potential risks.
  • Provide wider administrative support to the Pay & Reward team as required.

Essential Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Strong administration experience.
  • Good Excel and data-handling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pension administration experience.
  • Strong diary and meeting-management experience.
  • Previous experience within Pay & Reward, HR, HR Operations or a similar environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and a busy mailbox.
  • The ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of job evaluation.
  • Willis Towers Watson (WTW) experience.
  • Employee Relations experience.
  • Experience across salary structures, benefits and reward programmes.
  • Experience working with external benefit providers.
  • Previous public-sector experience.
