About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Advisor to support physical security risk management, assurance, and advisory services across a diverse property portfolio. You will provide expert advice, conduct site assessments, and support stakeholders in managing physical security risks, ensuring protective measures remain effective, proportionate, and aligned with policy and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on physical security risks and mitigation strategies
- Conduct Threat and Vulnerability Assessments (TVAs) and site security reviews
- Maintain and update risk registers and track mitigation actions
- Evaluate existing security controls and recommend improvements
- Support development of site security procedures and management plans
- Contribute to incident investigations, reporting, and lessons learned
- Support assurance activities, audits, and security exercises
- Oversee security system effectiveness (CCTV, access control, alarms, perimeter security)
- Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to support effective service delivery
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience conducting physical security assessments and risk reviews
- Strong understanding of physical security principles and mitigation measures
- Experience working in complex stakeholder environments
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Experience maintaining risk registers and tracking actions
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Competent with IT systems and reporting tools
- Active SC Clearance

- Security-related qualification or professional membership
