Lead HR Business Partner – Major Restructuring Programme
Swindon / UK Office (weekly attendance required)
We are looking for an experienced Lead HR Business Partner to take ownership of a major organisational restructuring and transformation programme within a large public-sector organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior HR professional to lead complex workforce change, oversee redundancy and exit programmes, and work closely with senior leadership teams to deliver a high-profile and business-critical programme.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
- Lead large-scale organisational restructuring and workforce transformation programmes.
- Manage end-to-end redundancy planning, consultation and implementation.
- Lead Trade Union engagement, collective consultation and negotiations.
- Provide expert advice on complex Employee Relations (ER) matters and employment legislation.
- Apply knowledge of Civil Service and public-sector pension arrangements.
- Advise and influence senior stakeholders on people-related risks and solutions.
- Oversee programme delivery, governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
What We're Looking For:
A senior HR professional with substantial public-sector experience, a proven track record of delivering complex restructures and redundancies, and the confidence to navigate challenging industrial relations environments.
Strong Trade Union negotiation experience, public-sector employment law knowledge and experience working across multiple pension schemes are essential.
