We are seeking a permanent, full-time Family Paralegal for our busy Birmingham office to join our expanding team.
Your Profile
- Be embarking on or have completed either the LPC or BPTC and undertaken the family law elective – Private Law Children
- Be able to demonstrate an interest in Family law
- Have strong organisational skills
- Have the ability to work under pressure
We would like the ideal candidate to
- Provide the highest level of client care in the management of client matters
- Provide support to Fee Earners
- Build relationships with internal and external parties
- Ensure that files are managed effectively, creating letters or documents on the case management system
- Attend client meetings and take notes
- Complete public funding applications
- Collate and redact large documents for Court bundles where necessary
- Liaise with local authorities, Police and medical professionals to request/receive documents
- Liaise with Courts and experts

The salary for this position is dependent on experience. We will offer ongoing training and support to develop your career as part of a strong and growing multi-office team. Our offices are friendly, working entirely paperless with recent significant investment in modern IT to enable you to work proficiently. We offer a great package of annual leave to ensure you get enough time away from work. Our annual leave for this role provides 23 days.
