GT Produce Ltd are looking for a full-time Class 2 delivery driver.
Shift Pattern: 3.00am- 11.00am, 40 hours per week at rate of £15.00ph. Monday-Friday week one (5 days), Monday- Saturday Week 2 (6 days).
Responsibilities:
- Safely and responsibly operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring that it is secure and properly distributed.
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns.
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial driving roles preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record or minimum points.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
This position requires a responsible individual with excellent driving skills. The successful candidate will have experience in commercial driving roles, be able to communicate effectively, and have the ability to lift heavy objects.
