We are GT Joinery, a manufacturing company specialising in windows, doors, staircases and furniture for private clients and high-end projects. We are looking for two people to join our team and be a part of something big. We require people who are hardworking, loyal, attentive, independent and enthusiastic to learn new skills of the trade.

We require a bench joiner and cabinet maker whose salary will be based upon year(s) of experience and quality of work. We offer the chance to work on unique projects, use machines that you otherwise would not have access to as a handyman and bring ideas to the table on how to create future products.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand detailed drawings and specifications drawn using software like CAD
  • Carry out installations on site with a guarantee of customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in a safe condition
  • Operate various machinery including a CNC

Desired skills:

  • Preferably have a Full UK Driving Licence
  • Familiarity with CNC machines as we have one on site that we use regularly
  • Multiple years of joinery experience with various materials and custom projects (experience in staircase joinery would be beneficial)
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
  • Attention to detail and pride in their own work to ensure its perfect
  • Understand how to use and operate a wide range of tools and machines
  • Knowledge of Russian would help but it is not required

Workshop location: KT8 2RY

Operating hours: 7am - 4.30pm
