About the Platform
We are a boutique Lloyd’s broker focused on originating and placing complex, large-scale risks into the international market. We operate across Eastern Europe and the Middle East, acting as a London execution platform for brokers, MGAs and insurers requiring access to international capacity.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a senior, commercially driven person who can originate business, build pipeline and close deals. If you are primarily an account manager or a servicing broker — this is NOT the role. If you are a deal-maker with a network — this is exactly the role.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Generate and convert new business across Europe and the Middle East
- Leverage your network to originate large and complex risks
- Work directly with decision makers (brokers, MGAs, insurers, corporates)
- Bring opportunities into the London market and drive them through to placement
- Structure and position risks effectively to secure capacity
- Build a meaningful and active revenue pipeline within the first 3–6 months
- Travel frequently across key markets (Middle East and Europe) to originate and develop business relationships
What We Expect:
- Proven ability to originate and convert business, not just manage existing accounts
- Strong, active relationships across Europe and/or the Middle East
- Direct experience working with the London market / Lloyd’s
- Existing network within Lloyd’s underwriters, syndicates, or London-based brokers
- Demonstrated track record of placing complex or hard-to-place risks into international markets
- Experience in energy, marine, industrial or specialty lines
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to engage at senior decision-maker level
- Clear and measurable revenue generation history
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively as part of a front-line business development role
You should be able to answer: “Which clients, brokers or markets can you activate immediately to generate business?”
Compensation:
- Strong base salary
- Uncapped, deal-driven bonus structure
- Significant upside for top performers
Why This Is Different:
- Direct access to Lloyd’s and global markets
- Focus on high-value, complex transactions
- Ability to build a meaningful book of business quickly
- No bureaucracy — pure execution environment
