Here at GSG Security we are currently recruiting for SIA licensed Security Guards to work at multiple locations in the areas of Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.
Hours: 12 hour shifts
Work Pattern: Various shifts available Mon-Sun
Location: Various locations
Rate Of Pay: £9.50+ per hour
We cover a variety of sites including Retail, Construction, Concierge, Bars, Clubs, Events and more and are looking to expand our team to adapt to our ever growing business with plans to grow even further across the North West and Midlands in the near future.
You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.
Responsibilities:
- Protect the company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
Requirements:
- Valid SIA licence
- Own transport is desirable but not essential
- 24-60 hours per week available
