GSS on behalf of the Client are looking for a Retail Security Officer in Bristol, where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Applicants must have an SIA Licence and Driving Licence (with access to own vehicle).

Position: Retail Security Officer

Location: Bristol

Pay Rate: £15.90 - £16.20 per hour

Duties

  • Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
  • Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
  • Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
  • Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
  • Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
  • Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
  • Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
  • Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
  • Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
  • Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn, and an SIA licence is clearly displayed

It is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills. A lot of admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices.
