Your Impact
As a Trading Operations Analyst, you will be at the heart of GSR’s trading infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of trades across our global digital asset business. You will gain exposure to the full trade lifecycle and develop an understanding of how liquidity is provided across both centralized and decentralized markets.
This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates who combine strong analytical skills, a passion for crypto markets, and a relevant academic background. Key Responsibilities
- Support the full trade lifecycle including booking, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation of digital asset transactions.
- Monitor positions, balances, and exposures to ensure data integrity and operational accuracy.
- Identify and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and margin issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Oversee cash and collateral movements across exchanges and custodians.
- Produce and interpret operational and risk reports to support decision-making and trading efficiency.
- Assist with process documentation, workflow automation, and control improvement initiatives.
- Build knowledge of crypto exchange infrastructure, DeFi protocols, and market structure.
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, or trading systems.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability; able to work confidently with data.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Clear communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional global teams.
- Flexible and willing to adjust to the needs of a global trading environment, including weekend coverage when required.
